UNITI expo 15-17 Mayıs’ta

UNITI expo, the leading European trade fair for the fuel retailing and car wash industries, taking place on May 15 – 17 in Stuttgart, Germany, has unveiled the conference program for its three industry forums.

More than 15,000 industry professionals will gather at UNITI expo 2018 to discover the newest products and ideas during three days. UNITI expo’s seminars and presentations will provide attendees with invaluable information on how to bring businesses forward.  Three separate forums will cover the industry’s hottest topics: International Forum, Carwash Forum and UNITI expo Forum.

The International Forum, with CECOD (Committee of European Manufacturers of Petroleum Measuring and Distributing Equipment) and the UK’s APEA (Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration) as cooperation and association partners, will host a group of leading experts to discuss the state of the fuel retailing sector in English. The first day will explore major changes around the world with sessions on cloud services and the digital revolution; a presentation by Rick Long (Petroleum Equipment Institute) on the U.S. fuel retailing market; changes in Latin America; dynamics of Asia; and current trends in the CIS area.

The second day will focus on the impact that alternative fuels will have on the forecourt business. Sessions will explore the challenges and opportunities that alternative fuels and electric mobility brings to forecourt operators. The role of natural gas-based fuels such as LPG, CNG and LNG in the future fuel mix and the business opportunities of LNG will continue to be discussed throughout the day. An overview on the Nordic experience with the switch to fossil free fuels and presentations on hydrogen fuelling and synthetic e-fuels will close the second day of conferences.

On May 17, global payment trends and mobile solutions will take the stage. Presentations by key technology companies such as Diebold Nixdorf and paydirekt will look into the latest developments in the payment sector. Global energy companies Shell and Total will close the conference program with presentations of their own mobile payment apps.

The Carwash Forum, with all presentations in German and English with real-time translation, is all about the professional carwash business. Payment methods, the challenge of meeting the new German GoBD directives based on European fiscal legislation, and general innovations in the sector will be the main topics of the first day with most of the major European manufacturers involved in panels. The second day will focus on practical examples of successful car wash operators, while the third and last day of the fair, will be dedicated to customer acquisition and customer loyalty.

The German-language UNITI expo Forum deals with relevant topics around the shop & convenience business. Food concepts and the progressive digitization are as much a part of this as legal changes in the tobacco industry. During three days, visitors will be able to see a number of famous personalities. TV-Star Joey Kelly and four times Olympic Gold winner Natalie Geisenberger will give inspirational speeches on the key to success. TV-Chef Alfons Schuhbeck will focus on healthy food and the secrets of spices.

The full programs can be found online on the UNITI expo website. If you are interested in visiting the fair, you should register in advance as a trade visitor on www.uniti-expo.com for free in order to ensure an easy onsite admission.
